Smriti Puri is the National Treasurer of FLO. She is the Director, Corporate Communications, SCV & Co. LLP, and Founder, icurate

Her entrepreneurial journey started in 1996 when she joined the family garment export business. It wasn’t long before she realized that her strength lies in client interface, marketing, forging new relationships and fostering the existing ones. Over the period of time, she continued to hone her skills and trained to become a soft skills expert.

She graduates from Hindu College, Delhi University and belong to a family of three generations of Chartered Accountants. The accounting firm SCV & Co. LLP, after a successful merger in 2018, has emerged as one of the top 10 multidisciplinary accounting firms in northern India, with a national and global footprint. Smriti took over as the Director of Corporate Communications and development of talent, where she trains in areas like communication skills, etiquette and time and stress management to a pool of around 250 plus members in her firm.

SCV & Co. LLP has a long-standing legacy since the 1970’s and has been contributing to matters of professional interest by participation and representation in various professional bodies and Chambers of Commerce such as Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), FICCI, CII, PHD Chamber of Commerce to name a few.

The portfolio includes a wide spectrum of industries ranging from Government Public Sector Enterprises, healthcare, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, automotive, banking, and financial institutions, NPO, NGO and education to name a few as well as several startups.

As the lead for corporate communications for the firm, Smriti has been instrumental in forming and maintaining long term relationships with large conglomerates.

She has served as National Joint Treasurer, FLO for 3 consecutive years from 2019-20 to 2021-22.

In 2015, she started her own venture of a brand management company and specialized in ideating and curating events for luxury brands to assist them for better client connects. Some of the clientele include brands such as Bvlgari, Berluti, Audi and Mercedes. She continues to curate and conceptualize ideas under this venture, called ‘icurate’.

Furthermore, realizing that she has a passion to give back to society, Smriti started a self-help group for women at a village in Uttarakhand, where they have a family home, called Devbhoomi Handicraft Felt Centre. Under the
guidance of her father-in-law, the SHG is training women to make pure wool felt items such as yoga mats, meditation mats, boots, and caps.

She is well-travelled to countries like USA, Russia, Singapore, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Finland, Norway, UAE, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Mauritius.
