A workshop of Natural Dye on Eri

A workshop of Natural Dye on Eri held in Kaziranga  from 1st of December 2017. The workshop was for 10 days and FICCI FLO North East Chapter  sponsored the course for 10 girls. All the girls are weavers of eri fabric and participation in this workshop will help them to dye their own threads or fabric. The dyes used are purely natural and organic and readily available in the woods of Kaziranga. Henna, turmeric, hibiscus, jasmine, onion peels, indigo, powder puffs etc are some of the readily available sources.
