Women Will- A session on Gender Inequality – Taj Lands End- Bandra

‘I am proud to be a woman.’ This was the feeling that every women left with from the session Women Will . The event was truly inspiring with women from different cultures, backgrounds, economic stratas, locations coming together and sharing their stories.
From ‘Revolver dadi’, an old lady who teaches women to use the revolver, to a 17-year-old girl who is the only unmarried girl in her village and is still in school… the stories gave wonderful insights in to the lives of women, the challenges they face and the courage with which they overcome them!
If you believe gender inequality exists only in developing countries, you are wrong. Frieda Pinto, the star from Slumdog Millionaire, shared that this problem exists in developed countries too, including in Hollywood.
