Women Empowerment Day by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)

FLO President, Neeta Boochra was invited as the Guest of Honour by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), on the occasion of Women Empowerment Day.

The Central Reserve Police Force, which is the largest Paramilitary Force in India, is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee Year. To commemorate the occasion, CRPF family Welfare Association (CWA) c organised ‘Women Empowerment Day’, being organised on the side-lines of the annual CRPF Mela, a confluence of craft and culture with the themes of Women Empowerment and Family Welfare.

Addressing the gathering, Neeta Boochra said, “Women empowerment is one key issue which is a common thread that connects FLO & CWA. We could definitely look at exploring the possibilities of working jointly towards the common goal of economic development through empowerment of women.”

She added further, “I am sure all of us would agree that we can contribute our bit in creating a roadmap for development which will not only speed up economic growth, and provide employment opportunities for women but will create a cadre of empowered women in the country.”
