Woman of Excellence Award and Change of Guard

On 6th May, 2011, the FLO Ahmedabad, has organised Woman of Excellence Award function. The purpose of the FICCI-FLO Woman of Excellence award is to encourage and empower other women to strive for excellence in all areas of their life.

A Woman of Excellence relentlessly pursues her goals and finishes what she starts. She has respect for self, respect for others, and takes responsibility for her actions. She is a woman who is spoken highly of. Her name is associated with love, dignity, humility, strength, beauty, wisdom, confidence, and hard work. She is a woman who will not settle for anything less than the best. She is embodied in Dr. Kiran Bedi, Mrs. Kumudini Lakhia and Mrs. Neerja Birla.

The Awards were given by Mr. Anupam Kher and Dr. Sonal Ambani.

Simultaneously the Change of Guard ceremony was also taken place. Dr. Ambani handed over the medal to Ms. Pooja Agarwal in this graceful ceremony.
