WE launch – Women’s Empowerment

Subsequent to the press meet, FICCI FLO Chennai Chapter launched the project amidst members and other celebrities who spoke in various aspects of Discipline,soft skills, employment etc as a panel discussion. The event was anchored well known National Television Reporter – Jennifer Arul of NDTV fame. Mrs Radhika Sarthkumar , Television , Movie Actress , Rear Admiral S. Ramsagar AVSM , VRC andNM awardee who spoke on women in armed forces and discipline , Mr. Santosh Babu IAS Poompuhar (Govt of Tamilnadu enterprise) on therequirement of soft skills in the adopted areas of WE project and Mr. Ninan Thariyan CEO of Dinathandi a leading news daily of Tamil Nadu.

The first batch of 15 members started the training with Maruthi Driving School. The event also witnessed some women who stood and spoke about their experienceas women drivers and what it took to reach there. These stories inspired the aspiring drivers and security guards.
