FLO organised a riveting session with two outstanding women from two different fields, achieving extraordinary feats and inspiring women across the national and the globe on Friday, March 3, 2023, at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi.

It was an endeavour to celebrate the Untold Stories of Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati and Bhagwani Devi Dagar and hear from them, about their challenging yet remarkable journey.

FLO President, Jayanti Dalmia said, “FLO believes that everyone has an untold story. But stories that touch our hearts, expand our minds, and inspire our spirits are powerful and must be told. These are STORIES THAT MATTER!! These are Stories that INSPIRE US. This event is an attempt to share the stories of two such inspirational women who have created their own phenomenal narratives.”

Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati, PhD is a renowned spiritual leader, author and motivational speaker based in Rishikesh, India. She’s the author of newly released #1 bestselling memoir, Hollywood to the Himalayas: A Journey of Healing and Transformation. Originally from Los Angeles and a graduate of Stanford University, Sadhviji has been ordained into the sacred order of Sanyas by her guru HH Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and has been living at Parmarth Niketan Ashram for the past twenty-six years.

Sadhvi ji shared her story from a young girl in Hollywood, who had been through various ups and downs in life, to a beacon of spirituality, which is nothing less than soul stirring.

Bhagwani Devi Dagar is a 95-year-old world champion, master athlete and a Gold Medalist and National Record Holder. She has set a class example to defy age and do all it takes to be remembered as one who made the nation proud!

Bhagwani ji believes that “ Kuch karne ka jazba ho toh koi bhi umar ya paristhiti se farak nahi padta,” ( If you have the zest and zeal to do something, age or circumstances can never be an obstacle)
