Training Programme on Tailoring

Coimbatore Chapter in collaboration with Avanashi lingam JSS inaugurate another batch of tailoring classes for rural women at Devarayapuram near Thondamuthur. The objective of this programme is to provide women with vocational skills so that they can establish their own businesses. The six- months long programme was inaugurated on November 16, 2012.

30 rural women from the village would be provided training on cutting, stitching and designing, under this programme.
