Ms. Sneha Kamath- Founder – SHE CAN DRIVE

Sneha is the founder of  She CanDrive, a woman led driving institute in Mumbai that trains only women to drive. Since inception she has successfully trained over 600 women. In the process she has gained a lot of popularity and accolades for her work. It is her belief that women are no lesser than men when it comes to taking up some of the most challenging responsibilities and executing them meticulously. If women are trained in an appropriate manner and allowed to gain confidence then they can pick up driving in no time and go on to become some of the finest drivers.

There is a pressing need for women trainers in the city who will be able to train women to drive giving them a comfort factor which lacks when they learn from male trainers. In her career span of 4 years of being a trainer, Sneha has realised just this and now she is up to making a difference. She wants to create a team of 20 women trainers through whom she can achieve this. These will be underprivileged women who are ambitious and want to support their families independently. They will be sought from across the country, trained, groomed and turned into drivers and trainers. Training to drive will be imparted by Sneha herself followed by training in self defense techniques and grooming in communication, behavior & basic etiquettes which will be imparted by an outsourced agency at minimal costs. Post training these women will be absorbed by She Can Drive at a stipend for a period of 1 year.
