Shri Sunil Ramanand, IG Prisons, Maharashtra gives permission to FLO Pune Chapter PAN Maharashtra to support female inmates with Skill Development

Flo Pune Chapter in collaboration with The Eco-Factory Foundation (TEFF) started skill development training for women prisoners in female open Jail, Pune to educate, enrich, encourage and empower them with training and skilling which will open numerous opportunities for income generation and allow them to venture into the businesses.

From 27th Jan to 10th April 2020 TEFF will be training jail inmates on Manufacturing of smokeless charcoal from garden waste, nursery management and development, manufacturing of cow dung based products such as cow dung pots, bricks formulation of natural pesticides insecticides and many more.

On 27th January in the presence of Mrs. S.S. Pawar, Jailer female open Jail, FLO Member inaugurated the same.
This will be a positive change in the lives of these women prisoners and can look for an opportunity to earn a better livelihood once they complete their imprisonment.
