Money Matters with Zarin Daruwala

Distinguished speakers Mrs Zarin Daruwala, Chief Executive Officer, India, Standard Chartered Bankand Mr. Raveendra Balivada, Head; Investment Advisory services at Standard Chartered Private Banking graced the third event of YFLO Kolkata at Taj Bengal on 4^th July from 3-6pm. It was a privilege hearing Mrs. Zarin Daruwala, as she shared with us her journey of reaching the crest in the corporate world.

Zarin Daruwala epitomises the adage- ‘simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.’ Being at the helm of a foreign bank is a rare achievement, and Zarin’s success, her mettle and her humility, makes her a role model for us. Her disciplined life, dedication to work and personal life, together with her sincerity and tremendous zeal to outperform, thoroughly inspired the audience. It was an equally enriching experience to hear Zarin speak on women empowerment, work life balance and the basics of financial management. Her story will remain with us for this life as a fountain of inspiration. Mr. Balivada, the second speaker enlightened our members with information and knowledge on financial literacy and money management. About 120 members from FLO and YFLO attended the event.
