Interactive session with Trail Blazer Sonu Nigam

FLO organised an interaction with Sonu Nigam – Indian Singer, Music Director, and Actor on May 02, 2022 at FICCI.

An icon of modern India who charted his own path from a young age, singing his way into the hearts of millions of music lovers, Sonu Nigam has been inspiring a whole generation of singers and fans.

A Padma Shree awardee and winner of innumerable film industry awards, who has always stood firm on his beliefs and principles, Sonu’s journey has been extraordinary.

In her welcome address, Jayanti Dalmia, President, FLO, said that singer Sonu Nigam’s journey – from being a child prodigy to a master of melody – is a truly inspirational story.

“This programme is an excellent opportunity to be motivated by his life story”, she said.

Ms Dalmia pointed to his vast repertoire of work that spans 6000 songs and 32 languages so far, to which the singer said that it is easy to take credit, but he still does not know how it has happened and thanked the power above for the opportunity.

Sonu shared snippets and anecdotes from his life and sang a few lines from some famous songs.

The session was moderated by Mr. Sushant Mehta Founder & CEO Beast Studios.
