Interactive Session with Japanese Delegation led by Ms Mori Masako, Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Japan, July 21, 2023

FLO hosted a roundtable luncheon meeting with a visiting delegation from Japan on July 21, 2023, at Hotel ITC Maurya. The delegation was led by Ms Mori Masako, Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Japan.

The primary objective of the round table meeting was to foster bilateral dialogue and explore opportunities for collaboration between Japan and India, particularly in areas related to women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship, trade, and investment. This meeting was facilitated by the Embassy of Japan in India.

Ms. Masako MORI was accompanied by Mr. Shinichi KOBAYASHI, Executive Assistant to Special Advisor to the Prime Minister; Mr. Yasuharu SHINTO Senior Regional Coordinator, Southwest Asia Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Yuhei YAMANAKA, Official, Southwest Asia Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ms. Kyoko HOKUGO Minister, Embassy of Japan in India; Mr. Satoshi KIYA, First Secretary, Embassy of Japan in India; Ms. Miina MATSUYAMA Third Secretary, Embassy of Japan in India and Mr. Hiroyuki SHIBUYA, Interpreter.

The round table meeting saw the participation of distinguished members of FLO, including entrepreneurs, professionals, and leaders from various industries. The Indian delegates were Sudha Shivkumar, President FLO; Poonam Sharma, Vice President, FLO; Smriti Puri, Treasurer, FLO; Divya Jain, Chairperson, YFLO and FLO members – Gunjan Poddar, Co-founder of Amala Earth; Sukhleen Aneja, CEO, Good Glam group; Poonam Mahajan, CEO, Signage’s India Pvt. The round table meeting proved to be an invaluable platform for dialogue, cooperation, strengthening of Indo-Japanese ties and leveraging the collective strength of women entrepreneurs in both nations.
