The Indian women & their Unique challenges

FLO Jaipur Chapter, organised an interactive panel discussion on “The Indian Women & their Unique Challenges” with Ms. Rajashree Birla, Dr. Swati Piramal & Ms. Vinita Bimbhet ( National President, FLO) in conversation with the debutant author of “ She walks she leads”, Ms. Gunjan Jain .This event was a book launch at Jaipur for her also. The speakers Ms. Rajashree Birla & Dr. Swati Piramal are two iconic women who have shared their journey of Success in the book she walks she leads.

The evening begun with the keynote from FLO National President Ms. Vinita Bimbhet highlighting FLO’s contribution to empower women at Grassroot , middle level and even corporate level. Ms. Bhimbhet quoted-“Advancing women rights, building women’s leadership & investing in movement’s are key enablers of change. Every Initiative, project, event undertaken by FLO is driven by the goal of creating more just & sustainable environment for women. Gunjan’s book celebrates extraordinary lives & they are the stories that matter & an inspiration for all. “

The wisdom words came from Ms. Birla who stated that “Indian Women acts as the guide to the world at this crossroad of modern world”. She laid the emphasis that how with hard work & determination everything we woman dream can be brought into existence still maintaining equilibrium in family life. She asked each one of us to mentor 10 Girls and the ripple effect will great. This will change the face of the country and bring equality.
Dr. Piramal the dynamic lady of the Pharmaceuticals industry, she is an avid reader & an excellent speaker. She spoke about many essential topics Like “Knowledge”; ‘Imagination’ which broadens the creativity of Mind; ‘Karma’ which is a far ancient concept still living its life in 21st century. She quoted that “Women are the wonders in the world, they plan each & everything meticulously, execute it with all satisfaction & are born leaders, accept it or not they are the leaders either in Household & their business.” She introduced the presentation with music co-related with women & the music brought everyone together experience the same emotion.

The panel of Ms. Bhimbhet , Ms. Gunjan & Dr. Piramal brought light to beautiful things of realizing ‘self worth’ of being a women & breaking the castle of dominant patriarchy society .

Chairperson Ms. Preeti Saboo added today’s session has boosted a spirit of positivity like a epoch of fresh air to get motivated and feeling good about oneself and realizing self worth.

Author Gunjan Jain shared after immense hard work and meeting and connecting with 24 leading woman “connoisseurs from all walks of life” came SHE WALKS SHE LEADS , Gunjan Jain says, “I was thrilled with my first book. It’s always been my dream to be an author and inspire people, especially women since I was very close to my mother. Meeting with so many dynamic professionals and writing this book has been a prodigious experience all together.”
