Health Camp

FICCI FLO North East Chapter has been organizing health camps in the villages regularly.  The aim of the camps is not just to provide health services but to create an environment where the whole community gets sensitized about health issues. The well-attended health camps organized in collaboration with the health institutions demonstrate to the service providers how health issues can be communicated to the community in an interesting and interactive fashion.

A one-day free Health Camp was organized at Ranibari, on Assam – Meghalaya border on May 19th, 2018. More than 200 people from surrounding villages attended the health camp. The team comprised private doctors, medical officers and support staff.

General physicians and specialist doctors such as dentists, gynecologists provided free service.

Member sponsored various item like toothpaste, sanitary napkins, drinking water, toothbrush, juice, biscuits and chocolates.

The health camp under the guidance of our Chairperson Sarita Sikaria was a great success as it was able to meet the health needs of the people.  The strong support of Srutimala Duarah Senior Vice Chairperson, Juhie  Vice Chairperson, Past Chairpersons and members is noteworthy.
