Grand Finale with Ms Sushmita Sen

FICCI FLO Indore had its Grand Finale with the woman of Substance Ms Sushmita Sen. The event was a celebration of the journey of the year 2023-24 and the felicitation of the dedicated and hard working committee of the year. FLO Indore Chairperson Ms Mamta Bakliwal got a standing ovation for her presentation on the work done during the tenure.

Sushmita Sen, a beacon of strength and self-belief, interacted with the members. The air crackled with anticipation as the former Miss Universe and celebrated actress graced the stage. But beyond the glitz and glamour, Sen used the platform to deliver powerful messages of a women’s strength, patience , determination and how being a single mother in today’s world is full of challenges.

Throughout the interactive session, Chairperson Ms.Mamta Bakliwal and the members posed questions on various aspects of female empowerment. A question arose about overcoming self-doubt to which sen emphasized on believing in ourselves and embracing ones individuality and still letting the confidence shine through. In response to another question about men supporting and empathizing with women, Sen’s answer won hearts as, she replied that men supporting women is fundamental for achieving true gender equality. When men actively listen, understand and empathize with a women’s struggles and advocate for her rights, it creates a powerful wave of change.
