Flood relief work done in Assam by FICCI FLO North East Chapter

On the 19th of August 2017, FICCI FLO Northeast Chapter, under the lead of our chairperson Prabidita Bharati, undertook a relief operation for the flood victims of Pobitra area. The team of FLo members, including many past past CPs, traveled on cars /boats to reach to the victims and families effected by this natural calamity. This effort was supported by the members of NDRF, which provided us with a team of personnel and a truck to carry the relief operations.

Our members transversed through dangerous flood waters to be able to reach the far flung areas which were inundated by the severe bout of floods. Carrying relief material for 100 odd families, our team could reach and succeed in distributing these materials to the most needy.

Relief materials included utensils, clothing, food items etc which was procured with the amount generously donated by our members.

It was a small contribution to society from our members which will go a long way in establishing FICCI FLO in the minds of the people.
