Face to Face with Police

FLO Ahmedabad organised an interaction with the highest levels of authority on women safety and gender justice. The panelists were Mr. A.K.Singh, commissioner of police, Ahmedabad; Manisha Lav Kumar, Government Pledge and Senior Advocate, Gujarat High court; Veena Gupta, Chairperson, Women Safety FSAI; and Jolly Shah, Emergency Specialist, United Nations, constituted the panel with Rupal Jain, Bureau chief, Afghanistan Reuters, as the moderator.

The attendees were updated about the initiatives that the police department has taken for creating a trustworthy and secure environment and could understand their role in building a safe society.
