Event on Womens Safety – Self Defense

FLO Mumbai Chapter took an initiative towards Womens safety which is actually the need of time. The event informed members about an institute started by Aditya Thackeray, son of leader & chairperson of Shiv Sena & Actor Akshay Kumar which provides free training to women at various centres. The purpose is to make women ready to face the challenges and make them confident .

The event was attended by Aditya Thackeray , son of Uddhav Thackeray – Leader & chairperson of Shiv Sena.

Dr. Shivanandan – IPS officer DGP Mumbai provided certain tips as to how to remain alert in public places & safeguard yourselves.

Actress Tapsee Pannu graced the occasion. Tapsee also received the training from the same institute for her movies. She shared her experience.

Various students from the institute demonstrated several stunts & also shared their experience as to how this training has changed their life.

Women Police Inspector Dhanashri Karmarkar also provided certain tips for Womens Safety.

Mr. Mehool, training instructor at the institute shared some details about the course.

Ms. Suditi Miglani – grand daughter of FLO Member demonstrated several Taekwondo stunts.
