Event with Ms. Blossom Kochhar

FLO Jaipur Chapter under the recently announced chairpersonship of Ms. Nidhie A Data conducted an event with the world’s leading name in Aromatherapy, Ms. Blossom Kochhar on Wednesday, 11th May 2011 at Hotel Four Points by Sheraton, from 4 to 6 pm.

This was the first event of the newly formed committee with the new chairperson. The program was attended by a large number of members and even guests showed a lot of enthusiasm. The hall was packed to the hilt, and Ms. Kochhar was overwhelmed with the response of Jaipur Women. She mainly explained the advantages of Aromatherapy, how it helps to rejuvenate and refresh ones skin and body. Over heard one of the members saying that “today in every Spa and every parlor,the therapists are using aromatherapy in large, but we didn’t exactly know how it was so useful to us. Thanks to Ms. Blossom Kochhar for that.”

The guest of honour for the evening was Ms. Sayali Bhagat, Femina Miss India 2004, who is also a successful model and actress. In her speech she said, she loved cricket and Jaipur ,and felt that Jaipur was a blend of modern amenities and traditional hospitality.

The chairperson, Ms. Nidhie A Data gave the welcome speech and also introduced the board and the executive committee for the year 2011-2012 to the members. Ms. Vinnie Kakkar being the vice chairperson, Ms. Bela Badalia – treasurer, Ms. Geetanjali Kasliwal- Secretary, Ms. Shefila Chordia- immediate past chairperson, Rani Vidya Deviji- patron, Ms. Jane H Singh and Ms. Nirmala durlabhji- Advisors, Apra Kuchhal- Event coordinator, Ms. Nitasha Chordia- Media and Publication Co-ordinator, Ms Ritika Data- exhibition coordinator, Executive committee- Ms. Preeti Saboo, Ms. Wandana Parnami, Ms. Surbhi Maheshwari, Ms. Monisha Agarwal, Ms. Ruchi Baheti and Ms. Yashvi Khaitan.

The beautiful decoration was courtesy Ms. Shobhnaa of Innovations . The program ended with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Vinnie Kakkar and we were encouraged by the great support from the media.
