"Entrepreneur of the Hour" with Chandra Babu Naidu September 15, 2014

The Hyderabad YFlo Chair Ms. ShakuntalaDivi and the members of the committee organised their fourth event of the year withHon’ble CM of Andhra Pradesh Shri Nara Chandra Babu Naidu.

In her welcome address Ms. ShakuntalaDivi spoke about the programmes in the various fields of women development that were very successful in his tenure.

The experienced and perceptive CM of Andhra was quick to acknowledge the ‘creative’ way in which yflo had organized the event by appreciating the ‘beautiful’ National Anthem video, the creative video biography in honour of him set to the tune of ‘ MaateluguTalli’ ( the Telugu anthem) .

He expressed his strong support for women empowerment through self sufficiency and literacy..

In today’s world with technological advancements, skill up gradation & valuable content and information can be gathered through the internet with little cost and effort. The only thing women need to succeed is motivation and the will to add value to the state and nation. He truly believed the women in FLO are in a position to gain access to all means required to succeed as entrepreneurs and encouraged them to be role models for more women to gain confidence to try their hand at entrepreneurship.

The speech ended with a brief question and answer session where various topics like handling corruption and smoother government clearances for setting up businesses were addressed.

Ms. ShakuntalaDivi, on behalf of the Yflo members presented him with a momento and a traditional Andhra ‘ Kalamkari’ shawl.
