DISCUSSION ON FORGOTTON SIGNIFICANCE OF INDIAN FESTIVALS – Dr. K.K. Agarwal & Ajit Singh (I.A.S.)

An enriched talk was organized by FLO Jaipur Chapter for its members and spouses by Dr.K.K.Aggarwal. It comprised of a discussion regarding our own festivals, customs and mythology. Dr.K.K.Aggarwal shared that the philosophy of every religion is to provide a platform for physical, mental, social and spiritual health of an individual. He is a Cardiac Surgeon by profession whose passion is spreading awareness about our own roots. He has been awarded the prestigious Padmashri award and Dr.B.C.Roy award. He is the president of Heart Care Foundation of India.
Ajit singh ji, IAS, Commissioner – Departmental Enquiries,Government of Rajasthan was the Guest of Honour for the evening. This event was largely appreciated by the members and their spouses because Jaipur still remains to be a traditional city with numerous festivals and rich traditions. Many members got their answers about customs and religions….answers which they even did not find place in books of mythology.
