Curated walkthrough of the Artix Art Fair at Hotel Taj Palace

FLO members were invited for an exclusively curated walkthrough of the Artix Art Fair on August 26, 2023. First of its kind across India, this Hotel Art Fair was a creative amalgamation of art, fashion, and luxury of renowned houses of Jahan Luxury and Arushi Arts.

Inaugurated on August 25, 2023, this dynamic event captivated art and culture enthusiasts during its three-day run. Hosted at the illustrious Taj Mahal Palace in New Delhi, Artix transformed the entire second floor, a set of forty-three rooms, into a mesmerising interactive art district. Every room on this floor was been skilfully converted into art salons and galleries, offering a captivating blend of Indian and international masterpieces, contemporary and modern art, sculptures, tapestry art and a treasure trove of collectables.

Payal Kapoor, Malvika Poddar and Timsy Anand, the three Co-founders behind the concept of Artix vision aimed to fuse indigenous and global art and artists to showcase the luxury of tradition and heritage. Their vision was to provide a platform for the art connoisseurs and collectors to witness some amazing work.

The walkthrough was followed by a talk moderated by Payal Kapoor, Director – Arushi Arts with eminent art collectors Lekha Poddar, Nitin Bhayana and Saloni Doshi on the art of collecting.
