Celebrating Joy of Giving Week: FLO Saree Library:

Ahmedabad Chapter experienced the true Joy of Giving with underprivileged women and children at Wadaj BPL area on October 4, 2012. It was a wonderful experience to share the warmth of the women and children. FLO member Ms Vandana Agarwal introduced a truly ingenuous and innovative approach to celebrate the Joy of Giving week. Members gifted beautiful sarees and chaniya cholis, outfits which were then labelled and recorded in a library. Women who are less privileged could rent out the same for special events at a token price. Members also donated gym equipment, toys, stationary etc for the school in the area.
