Candle Making Workshop

In June, FLO Kolkata conducted a workshop for 6 women who were eager to acquire a new skill to help achieve an independent livelihood. Ms Usheshi volunteered to teach them the art of candle making in various shapes and sizes also including infusion of various essences and aromas. These candles created by these women would be showcased on various upcoming events of FLO and are already receiving corporate gifting orders. Each participant earned a daily wage of INR 230/-.

The women have thus far received orders for Durga Puja, Diwali, Rakhi and currently undertaking Christmas orders
