Beyond What Meets The Eye In conversation with Emraan Hashmi and Bilal Siddiqi

Emraan Hashmi, the Bollywood heart throb was the guest at YFLO Kolkata in a tete-a-tete with the members on 29th July.

The undaunted spirits, not of a reel life idol but that of a real life man, a husband and a father, is what made Emraan, a hero for us.

The reel life hero engaged in a delicate discourse on life which he has very evocatively chronicled in his recently published book on his son Ayaan’s battle and victory over cancer, “The Kiss Of Life”.

The book has been co-written by 21-year-old writer Bilal Siddiqi. The Kiss of Life is about that time in Hashmi’s life when his son needed him the most, the time when all his other experiences paled in comparison to the tennis ball tumour that invaded his son’s kidney. Renowned emcee Oindrilla Dutta compered the show.

With more than 250 members of FLO and YFLO the show was an immense hit.
