Baroda visit

On October 27th 2010, FLO members visited Baroda to take an artistic tour of the “Retreat”, which is situated on the Mahi riverside. The Retreat organizes workshops for artists who stay and produce their artworks at site. On the same day FLO members received a Royal welcome at the Palace by Maharani Subhagini Raje. She enlightened members with the history of her ancestors as well as the palace itself. She also shared her commitment to the revival of Chanderi sarees. It was an exceptional experience for all members.
