Awareness programme on Hand washing and Sanitation and Hygiene

As part of the Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan, FICCI Ladies’ Organisation , NE Chapter organised an awareness programme on hand washing and sanitation on 15 November 2014 at Gopal Boro H S School, Ganeshguri, Guwahati.

Bornali Ghosh of Public Health Engineering Dept. Assam was deputed by Rushab Hemani of Unicef Assam, to carry posters on hand washing, leaflets on Acute Diarrhea Disease (ADD) Prevention, TV/audio spots on safe handling of drinking water, use of sanitary toilets and hand washing with soap, for distribution. she gave a very interesting demonstration on all the above topics, and the children responded and participated with great enthusiasm.
