Art Workshop

Yflo Kolkata hosted its first 2 day Art Workshop on the 6-7th of July, by renowned artist Shipra Bhattacharya. The workshop aptly titled “A New Beginning ” was enthusiastically welcomed by all members, amateur as well as experienced. Shipraji advised, encouraged and helped each of the 17 members who participated. All the participants thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the professional knowhow received during the two days.

On the 10th of July, the Kolkata chapter continued its art week by organising a talk on Art-A Treasure. The speakers, Mr. Swapan Seth, art collector and Ms. Priya Khanna, renowned art restorer spoke primarily on how to choose art and how to best conserve and restore it. The audience greatly appreciated the advice and pointers given by our esteemed panel.
