A Field Trip to M/s. Pragati Offset Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad February 13th, 2013

YFLO Hyderabad Chapter has organized a Field Trip to Pragati Offset Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad on 13.02.2013 under the Chairpersonship of Ms. Mourya Boda.

Pragati was started in 1962 by Mr. Hanumantha Rao, Chairman of the company. The company is headed by CEO Mr. Narendra Paruchuri. Pragati has been in the printing field for over 40 years, and has earned the loyalty of top corporate houses in India with its quality, timeliness and customer-service. It was the first company to introduce Photo-type-setting in South India in 1979.

The members of YFLO & FLO gathered at Pragati’s office and visited their unit to understand the process of printing. All the members had an opportunity to go around the press, accompanied by Mr Harsha, Managing Director of Pragati Offset Pvt. Ltd., who has explained the whole process. All the members were enthusiastic in understanding the printing process. Later, Mr Harsha addressed the members on the challenges encountered while setting up a state of the art organization, how tough competitions were faced both domestically and internationally, how does Pragati upgrade itself from time to time and the Research and Development involved in making Pragati India’s leading printer.
