5th IWEC Awards, New York

The 5th IWEC Awards were held in New York from November 13 to 17, 2011. It was hosted by Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, New York. Since inception only 5 years ago, IWEC, with the participation of institutions from all over the world, has truly become a global network.

Women entrepreneurs from eleven countries received the 2011 International Women Entrepreneurial Challenge (IWEC) Awards in recognition of their outstanding achievements in the field of entrepreneurship.

Three awardees were nominated from India, namely Mira Kulkarni- Managing Director,Mountain Valley Springs India Pvt Ltd, Namita Raman- Managing Director, Singrimari Tea Estate (P) Limited and Ms Manjula Reddy, Executive Director – The Country Club India Limited. FLO also nominated 5 awardees from other Asian countries.
