FLO offers a wide range of advantages to its members

Awareness Programmes:
To succeed professionally and even personally it is important to be aware of what is happening in the world. Sir Francis Bacon said 'Knowledge is power', we at FLO try to bring to the fore this power by periodically conducting awareness programmes such as seminars/ debates/ discussions on a wide range of issues like new business opportunities, health, taxation, investment planning, insurance, etc.

Training
Whether it is a prospective entrepreneur, a woman executive who wants to improve her knowledge or even a housewife interested in updating her skills are welcome to the training programmes of FLO. Workshops and vocational training are organized to help women in the service industry, merchandising, manufacturing and a host of other professions. The Hanns-Seidel- Foundation supports and contributes in these programmes organized by FLO.

Networking
In its objective to promote bilateralism and fellowship among women, FLO serves as forum for women to come together and interact. At regular intervals, fellowship programmes are also conducted to improve interaction between members. The Inter-State Meet conducted every year is also a great opportunity to interact with members of all other chapters and the Delhi members. FLO sends delegations abroad and also hosts delegates from all over the world including Japan, Sweden, USA, Australia, Germany, Pakistan, Bangladesh and more. Due to the trade focus, FLO members also interact often with government bodies, ministers and other chambers of commerce.

Business Consultancy
FLO has business consultancy cells in few chapters for members and non-members. Advice on identifying projects, markets areas, preparation of project reports, forwarding to financial institutions and other such help can be got from the experts.

Recognition
FLO presents awards every year in recognition of outstanding contribution by entrepreneurs, social workers, institutions and professionals. The FLO Chennai Chapter has since two years started giving awards at the regional level also in appreciation of outstanding contributors.

Personality Development
Women empowerment is more than simply making them aware of their rights and providing them with opportunities in their chosen career. It is about mental fortitude that enables them to stand up for themselves and face the world. At the personality development programmes organized by FLO, experts are invited to address the members and instill in them a confidence to strive against all odds.
