Words in the Garden – A Celebration of Literature, Arts & Ideas

Delhi is not only a city of power and prestige, it is also a major center of Culture, Heritage and Creativity. A City which renews itself; imagines itself anew; offers immerse possibilities; is a green city providing evocative residence for innovation and imagination.

“Words in the Garden – A Celebration of Literature, Arts and Ideas” was a organised to both explore and celebrate Delhi through Words, Ideas, Expressions, Discussions, Dialogues, Readings, Exhibitions and Performances.

Delhi has also been a city of great poets who sang of it, celebrated and suffered it, explored it and questioned it. The first in an annual series, was centered around Meer – the great Urdu poet and the themes carry as titles lines of his poetry – City, Nature, Love and Loneliness.

The festival was held at the India International Centre, New Delhi, 24th – 26th February, 2017
