Visit to the Winery

FLO Bangalore led a 60 member delegation to Grover Winery to understand the business of wine and wine making.

The trip included introductions to the business of wine, how wine is extracted from grapes, crushing and tasting. Third generation, and the first qualified woman winemaker was also present to help FLO members understand the business, the process and the challenges.

Today there are many women in the wine industry, working as oenologists, in commercial roles, as winemakers. FLO Bangalore has constantly endeavored to open new avenues of opportunity for the woman of today. The wine industry, seemed right for plucking!
