Impact of Global Turmoil on The Indian Economy

Dr.Rajiv Kumar, Secretary General, FICCI addressed FLO members on the 'Impact of Global Turmoil on the Indian Economy'. Dr Kumar is a well known economist and a regular columnist to several Business dailies.
The downturn in the global economy has undoubtedly made a hard-hitting impact on the Indian economic scenario. Women entrepreneurs and professionals are hugely affected due to existing vulnerabilities and inequalities created by unequal access to resources, opportunities and decision-making process.
In this perspective, this interactive session was organized by FLO. Dr. Kumar talked about the social impact of the crisis and how it affects different categories of the people specially women entrepreneurs. It was a highly interactive session and members actively participated in it.
