Vision 2020: Legal Reforms: Myth or Reality September 17th, 2011 FLO organized a panel discussion on 'Vision 2020: Legal Reforms :Myth or Reality' .The distinguished panel comprised Hon'ble Justice of Supreme Court of India Ms Gyan Sudha Misra, Hon'ble Justice High Court of Delhi Ms Gita Mittal and Chairperson & Editor-in Chief India TV Mr. Rajat Sharma. Legal reforms is an issue which is so fundamental to our day to day lives but we tend to ignore it for various reasons such a hectic schedules, lack of time or ignorance. Our role as members of civil society is very significant. At the same time, we also need assurances that appropriate measures are taken to ensure the safety of the citizens, transparency in systems, easy accessibility to information, timely redressal of complaints and policies are framed keeping in mind the common man. This programme had been premeditated keeping these conditions in mind. Priya Hingorani, Governing Body Member, co-ordinated the programme. Survina Bhalla, Committee Member, hosted the lunch. |
