Sweden Delegation Visit to Delhi, India
December 6 to 10, 2009
As part of the second set of exchange programmes in 2009, a Swedish delegation of 4 women entrepreneurs and 2 organizers from Entrepreneur Centre, Sweden visited India from December 6-10, 2009. FLO had sent its delegates to Stockholm, Sweden earlier, in November 2009.

Special programmes such as the panel discussion on “My Journey as an Achiever” with eminent women achievers and business meetings according to the delegates’ business interests were organized for the delegates.
A special round of one-to-one meetings with FLO members was also arranged. These meetings were based on the delegates’ business interests, and the delegates made new business contacts and exchanged information about various business and women entrepreneurship-related issues.
The delegates also met officials at the Swedish Trade Council, New Delhi.
Besides business meetings, a socio-economic site visit to Nandnagri was organized, wherein the delegates visited an old age home, income generation units, and so on.
Many cultural programmes were also organized during the course of the visit. |
