The FLO-CSR Training Programme on Soft Skills and English Language for girl students of Jija Bai Industrial Training Institute for Women (JBITI), Siri Fort was inaugurated by Rashmi Singh, Mission Director, Samajik Suvidha Sangam, Programme Management Unit, Government of NCT of Delhi. The programme is a joint effort between FLO and ITI and will be conducted over 6 months by specialist trainers from Receptive Accumen Training Pvt. Ltd for the students of JBITI.

The objective of the training programme is to empower girls undergoing technical and vocational training by making communication skills, personality development and fluency in English a part of their curriculum, thereby increasing their employability.

The training programme is part of FLO’s “Educate the Girl Child” initiative. It is in keeping with FLO’s commitment to empowering women at all levels of the society. FLO believes that it is essential to give appropriate emphasis on educating the girl child in order to empower them and turn them into successful entrepreneurs.
