CACCI Women Entrepreneurs Council (CWEC)
Established in 1966, CACCI is a regional organization of chambers of commerce and industry representing the interest of more than three million business enterprises in Asia and Western Pacific. It aims to provide a forum for promoting intra-regional trade and investments. With members from 24 Asia-Pacific countries, it cuts across national boundaries to link business and promote economic growth throughout the region.
Recognizing the opportunities that women business can contribute, CACCI Women Entrepreneurs Council (CWEC) was formally established in November 2006 in Taipei-Taiwan to help advance the interest and cause of women entrepreneurs in the region and promote co-operation among them.
FLO was invited by CACCI to chair CWEC to fulfill its objectives.
